S Y L F A A E unifies the elements of texture, whimsy and sustainability to create a collection of thoughtfully handcrafted jewellery made with recycled silver.

Each piece is inspired by the intricate textures and organic forms found within nature, the spirituality and mystery of magick, and an emphasis on the unique beauty of the imperfect. These elements have been considerately balanced to develop a collection of jewels to accompany you in all walks of life.

With a strong emphasis on sustainability, including reducing waste and using eco-friendly and recycled materials wherever possible, S Y L F A A E creates jewellery in small batches and made-to-order. Each piece is handcrafted in Melbourne (Narrm), on Boon Wurrung land.

ZIPEI was founded in 2019 by Zipei Summer Huang, who is a jewellery designer, silversmith and contemporary artist based in Melbourne. With an emphasis on sculptural quality, ZIPEI’s mission is to transform the poetic hardness and tenderness of everyday life into wearable forms. Each of ZIPEI’s jewellery is made individually, no two pieces are identical.

The brand name ZIPEI is not only Zipei's name, but means “the (jade) that you are wearing” in Chinese, taken from The Book of Songs. It is ZIPEI’s belief that each encounter is unique, and each piece of jewellery is a companion for the best person to come. We wish the intimacy, the story, and the happiness of wearing our jewellery will stay with you for a long time.

Shonah

I’m Shonah, and I’m vintage obsessed. I’ve spent countless weekends scouring Victoria’s markets for the perfect rustic pieces for my home. And my artisan jewellery line is entirely vintage inspired. I use old-world techniques heavily influenced by Art Deco and the 19th century Arts and Crafts Movement.

While my aesthetic has evolved since 2004, I’ve never been one to follow trends. Instead, I seek to create timeless, one-off pieces in a range of sustainable materials that you can enjoy throughout the seasons of your life. I’m happiest in my home studio, creating my own watercolour and ink papers, or experimenting with new techniques and mediums with Dali, my chocolate lab and Roy, my prehistoric lizard curled up at my feet.

Through the years, I’ve worked as an art and music teacher, most recently retraining as a psychotherapist. Jewellery making began as a passion, and it continues to be an expressive art form, as well as a form of mindfulness. With sustainability and uniqueness in mind, it’s important to me to avoid mass production. That means each Shonah piece is a genuine one-off and there will never be another exactly like it.

Each time you wear it, let it transport you to a moment in time — a treasured moment with someone else, or perhaps the memory of choosing something special just for you.

Mt. Indigo

I’m the maker and designer behind Mt. Indigo. I design and handmake every pom pom and tassel — transforming my creations into bright, bold, joyful jewellery and accessories. Based in Melbourne as both a graphic designer and maker, I created Mt. Indigo as an outlet to channel my design experience, textile interests and pom pom addiction.

Mt. Indigo pom poms aren't like the average pom pom you made in primary school — when developing Mt. Indigo, I experimented by making hundreds of pom poms before perfecting the density, shape and texture. Big and bold, yet deceivingly light and fluffy, Mt. Indigo earrings will have you shaking your pom poms around town in no time!
