An exhibition of new paintings by Tashia Dixon.
Artists statement:
I see birds, trees, rivers, sunset and wonder at their brilliance and the interconnectedness of all things. And I marvel at humankind’s achievements to create places that increase connection to itself.
This exhibition explores the intersection of nature and humankind from the animal’s perspective through the eyes of the viewer. It considers a spectrum of nature’s experiences from whimsy to woe, as the object and as the subject. Nature’s relationships with itself can be a mirror to our own lives and cue us when to listen, when to fight and when to be still.
