The Melbourne Makers’ Market is a monthly art and design market held at City Square on Swanston Walk every month throughout the year.
With more than 6,000 creatives showcased over the years, we know what a great market looks like, and we’ve spent a long time thinking about what a great CBD market could be.
The answer, we think, is this: smaller, slower, and more considered than a general market. A place where every stall has been curated. Where the design quality across the whole site feels coherent. Where a visitor can spend an unhurried Saturday morning walking between forty makers who’ve each been selected for the originality and integrity of their work.
